Adult Educational Ministries
Adult programs are a vital part of the church community as they help to cultivate new relationships and deepen our faith in Christ. Through the participation in a small group program, you will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussion and activities that promote growth in your Christian faith.
In this congregation there are a wide variety of occasions for all adults to learn about and experience the Christian faith. Either as participants or through developing your leadership skills, there is growth for all.

Jesus Walk is a group for developmentally challenged adults which meets weekly between September and June to provide a welcoming and loving place where members experience a varied program of music, prayer, special programs and outings. Jesus Walk sings in church on numerous occasions and leads us in an inspiring time of worship on Handicapable Sunday (October). Volunteer leadership with capable, loving and understanding people is provided. Mondays at 7:00 pm
Friendship Bible Study
Every Sunday morning from the beginning of September to the end of June there are smiling faces that are eager to learn about the love that God has for them.
Members of the Friendship Bible study are Handicapable Adults that always want to read Bible Verses on their own or with the assistance of the Leaders.
Friendship Bible study would like to thank the Congregation for the continued support of this Ministry.
Thursday Morning Bible Study
The Thursday morning Bible-based Study Group meets upstairs in the lounge at 9:30 through to 11:30. During our time together we explore our faith through a selected book of interest using an accompanied study guide. Together as a group we learn, share ideas, enjoy music and have prayer. This is a most supportive group of women and new people are always welcome to join us as we explore our walk with God.
We break for the summer months but will begin meeting in the fall in early September. For further information please call the church and leave a message for the contact members: Sandra McNee or Jane Blogg.
Each week a group of loving people receive a prayer sheet from the Church Office (from Prayer Requests submitted on Sunday mornings) and individually, throughout the days of the week, lift up those requests to God in prayer, praying for the health and healing, the needs and concerns of our people.
Our Senior Choir, meets weekly (Thursday nights, 7:30pm) to prepare musical numbers for presentation in regular Sunday worship. Special music is prepared for our Good Friday Service and on Christmas Eve they present a glorious service of Lessons and Carols. Music is a beautiful vehicle through which the Christian faith is expressed.

Collier Prayer Companions
We always mention you in our prayers and thank God for you. 1 Thessalonians 1:2
Prayer Companions are women and men in our congregation who may not be able to engage in active ministry because of physical limitations or schedule conflicts, yet have the desire to be of service with the church. They are commissioned by our congregation to pray for ministries of our congregation and the various programs that meet here; praying for those who serve and those who receive the ministry.
Please consider being a prayer companion. Your commitment would be to pray each day for a specific group within the church community.
People interested in being part of this ministry can contact our Prayer Companion Coordinator Carol Duckworth at 705-424-5408 and she will meet with you to further explain the ministry and talk about the group for which you would like to pray.
