Ukrainian Refugee Benefit Concert.

Artist-in-residence of “De Principaal” in Ghent Belgium, notably gifted organist and piano performer Dariia Lytvishko is the forthcoming music director at St Matthew’s as well as at the Trinity Church in Essen Germany. Dariia has organized and performed numerous international concerts in support of Ukraine across Germany, Belgium, France and Canada whilst raising awareness not only about the immense and untenable loss of innocent human life but also the environmental devastation and loss of biodiversity caused by the ongoing war in Ukraine. As part of a larger organization our mission in Barrie is to provide social, cultural, educational and humanitarian programs in a Ukrainian Canadian context where we encourage everyone to engage with each other and help newcomers to integrate into our community. Currently, we are working on a cultural activity centre at the Georgian Mall that will benefit the community by providing social, cultural and recreational programs to many newcomers.
