COVID-19 Updates

The Simcoe/Muskoka District Health Unit region is now in the Red-Control level effective Monday March 8. In light of this, the Official Board voted unanimously to shift Collier Street United Church back to Phase 1.

What does this mean?

Worship leadership will take place outside the Church building. All services will be offered only online effective immediately, and the building will be open only to staff.
We appreciate that Christmas is a special time in the life of our Church family, and in that light we want to ensure everyone stays safe and healthy.

COLLIER CHAT

Collier United Church is pleased to offer a new adult outreach program to our community.

This adult ministry focus group will meet on a regular basis with opportunities for more frequent interactions as members require.

The specific focus of this group is
Bereavement Support through Mutual Sharing and Engagement

This confidential Chat Group is intended to offer a safe place for growth and understanding with a faith-based foundation but it is not intended to replace professional medical counseling or Ministerial Pastoral care.

Collier’s Adult Program Director – Rob Murdock will facilitate this Chat Group.
As a Candidate for Diaconal Ministry, Rob brings his discernment for Pastoral Care and the scope of his life experiences to this group.  As a former widower, he brings that journey’s lessons and those of his wife, Maureen (herself a former widow) to the table for understanding, support and encouragement.  A career in Policing as an Investigator, Rob focused on many circumstances surrounding the loss of a loved one.

To access this group please contact Rob Murdock at:
